In the first of two segments, Claudio Edinger discusses his work in Brazilian slums and prisons and the difference between working in Brazil and New York. He shows slides of recent work, discussing how to gain access to communities and describing a project in which he lived and dressed like a Hasidic Jew. He offers advice on how to start a career in photography. Workshop participants ask questions throughout. The second segment ends before the event is over.
