Material Category
The SWE:T candy store is an edible data visualization about gender inequality of the unpaid care labor, which refers to the time spent on household maintenance and caring for family members and others. As this global issue persists, this project uses lollipops as a novel canvas to demonstrate this information in a tangible way. The lollipops serve as sweet visualizations of the unpaid labor between men and women from a broad spectrum of countries across the world.
