Description
The Playground is a 3D animated short that aims to activate the political consciousness of the younger generation of Taiwanese who have come to take the country's hard‐earned democracy for granted. In order to raise their awareness, my goal is to create an allegorical story that takes place in an elementary school playground, paralleling to Taiwan's political status. The film is animated in Maya and composited in After Effects with live video footage. By using colors and visual clues, I emphasize what each character represents in the real world.
