Description
Elevations and sections of the library stairs, and a half plan of the fifth floor gallery in the New School for Social Research's building at 66 West 12th Street. After the Graduate Faculty formed in 1933, noise from the fifth floor distracted those studying in the library. The stairways were closed off. From a folder entitled, "Library stairs, desk, tables (fourth floor): Plans, details."
