This audio recording covers one panel from the Vera List Center-sponsored conference, Considering Joseph Beuys.

Kathy Gonacharov introduces Marcia Tucker, who is moderating a panel titled, "Feminism." The panel consists of artists who attended that breakfast: Mary Miss, Camille Billops, Peggy Jarrell Kaplan, and Dorothea Rockburne.

From 3:41, Mary Miss shows photographs of the breakfast, before discussing her recollection of the event and the generally negative impression the artists developed of Beuys at the breakfast.

At 25:40, Dorothea Rockburne speaks on her memory of Beuys.

At 34:10, Marcia Tucker invites Joan Jonas, who is in the audience, to speak on her memories of the event. At 35:05, Tucker speaks on Beuys's arrival at the event.
