File predominantly consists of publicity and planning documentation for a 1959 photography exhibition held in the newly opened bridge connecting the original New School building on 66 West 12th Street and a new building on West 11th Street. The photographs by Berenice Abbott depict scientific processes. Robert M. Friedberg, Director of Information for The New School, is the primary correspondent with Abbott and editors seeking permission to publish the images. Includes drafts of photograph captions, as well as a press release for Abbott's photography workshop at The New School.
