Description
Photocopies of manuscripts pertaining to the Psychology Department, compiled by sociology professor Arthur Vidich. One unattributed draft manuscript, "Psychology's Stake in a Reconstituted Graduate Faculty Integrating a Critical and Integrated Synthesis of the Social Sciences and Philosophy," appears twice. Also includes a two-page document by Michael Roberts and a three-page memorandum by Mary Henle, addressed to "the Advisory Committee." Vidich likely compiled these documents during a time when The New School's graduate division was facing a loss of accreditation.
