Three nightdresses featured in the May 1961 issue of Mademoiselle magazine in an editorial titled "Sleep Shifts/Sleep Shirts". According to the editorial's text, the figure on the left wears a blue batiste sleep shift with a tucked, lace-edged yoke by Barbizon. The figure in the center wears a lilac-pink shift of nylon tricot with applique lace flowers by Artemis, and the figure on the right wears a blue, front-buttoned shift with a wide yoke and flounced hem by Kayser.
