Illustration for a Herald Tribune Magazine fashion editorial titled "Fashions Revive the '30s". According to the editorial's text, this illustration depicts a 1930's style hat and soft crepe dress by John Moore for Matty Talmack. Completely cut on the bias, the dress features a long flowing skirt, short cape sleeves, and a top that is softly shirred to a band at one side. (The editorial was published on January 6th, 1957, so it is uncertain why "07-01-65" is inscribed at the bottom of the illustration.)
