Description
Dancer's costume designed for an Earl Carroll Vanities showgirl. The costume consists of what appears to be a skin-toned bodice with an off-the shoulder cape collar with swirling black trim. The bodice creates a drop-waist silhouette with similar black swirls around the hips, which connect to a two-tiered floor-length white skirt. The top layer appears to have a bubble shape as well as a long black ribbon bow tied at the proper right bottom front. The dress is paired with opera-length white gloves.
