Description
Presumably designed as a costume for one of the many films that Le Maire worked on during the 1950s. The ensemble includes a light brown shirtdress with a sash belt, knee-length fitted skirt, and three-quarter length sleeves with what appear to be fringed sleeve cuffs that match the collar. Unknown embellishments (possibly bits of string) are sporadically attached throughout the dress. Although the trim appears to be dark brown, the inscription indicates that the trim is black.
