Navy point d'esprit ("lace of spirit") women's ensemble featuring a calf-length dress with taffeta slip and a long-sleeved jacket with a shirred and puffed lapel. Sketch includes a view of the full ensemble worn with a cartwheel hat, as well as a smaller view of the dress worn without the jacket that shows short sleeves and a square neckline.
