Traina-Norell fashion presentation featuring a model wearing a stiff shantung summer coat worn over a black chiffon dress with a straw hat, as indicated in a newspaper article that describes this ensemble from another presentation. The model walks arm-in-arm with a man dressed as a Civil War soldier who is completely covered with metallic paint, presumably for the purpose of playing a statue that has come to life. Although it is unknown where this presentation took place, numerous materials found alongside this photograph indicate that it's probably from a presentation shown in Palm Beach on February 17, 1949, which was described as "dramatic and interesting" by the local newspaper. This photograph was originally part of a larger scrapbook that can now be found in Box OSx-3, Folder 6.
