Traina-Norell fashion presentation featuring five models wearing day ensembles on a stage. The models are posed alongside stairs, fake pigeons, and a large painting of an animated statue. A man (presumably an actor) wearing a police uniform salutes from the top of the stairs, while a second man dressed as a Civil War soldier in metallic paint holds a bouquet of daffodils. The second actor poses on one knee in front of a model at the top of the stairs while the other four models look on with dramatic gestures from below. Each model wears a day ensemble with a long skirt, gloves, and a hat. Details are only known of the ensemble shown on the model on the right, who wears a stiff shantung summer coat worn over a black chiffon dress with a straw hat. Although it is unknown where this presentation took place, numerous materials found alongside this photograph suggest that it's from a presentation shown in Palm Beach on February 17, 1949, which was described as "dramatic and interesting" by the local newspaper. This photograph was originally part of a larger scrapbook that can now be found in Box OSx-3, Folder 6.
