Traina-Norell evening dress featuring a full-length loose skirt, rounded neckline, long Juliet style sleeves, and a boned bodice with small dark buttons extending down the center front. The dress is part of a series of "Basque" silhouette dresses that Norell made at the time, which were known for boning and skirt ease. A newspaper article reporting on the collection indicates that the "long torso effect above full skirts stirred up some excitement." The photograph was part of a larger scrapbook that can be found in Box OSx-1, Folder 11.
