Description
Bonwit Teller window display featuring a women's ensemble. The display includes soil covered flooring and woody vines in the background. The mannequin is wearing a skirt, long woolen scarf, sleeveless blouse, necklace, and heels. The mannequin is also wearing an elaborate bird themed mask with a beak and plummage. A banner at the bottom of the display reads: "Call of the Outdoors... Supreme fall plumage from Bonwit's sports floor the fifth. Separates collection shown 16.00 to 50.00 each.” Bird masks likely designed by Bill Cunningham, identified only as "William J."
