The Women Writers of the Diaspora series, organized by The New School for Public Engagement, celebrates literature written by women from the African diaspora. This lecture features Ifeona Fulani and is moderated by Celesti Colds Fechter, associate dean of academic services for the Schools of Public Engagement. The recording begins with some conversation between Fechter and Fulani, then Fulani reads excerpts from her collection of stories Ten Days in Jamaica. At the end of the lecture, Fulani answers questions from Fechter and from the audience.
