Description
The Women Writers of the Diaspora series, organized by The New School for Public Engagement, celebrates literature written by women from the African diaspora. This lecture features Keisha-Gaye Anderson and is moderated by Celesti Colds Fechter, associate dean of academic services for the Schools of Public Engagement. The recording begins with an introduction from Fechter, then Anderson reads a selection of her poems. At the end of the lecture, Anderson answers questions from Fechter and from the audience.
