In 2013, Executive Dean Joel Towers of Parsons School of Design launched a project to conduct oral history interviews with Parsons alumni. While each interview has its own character, the alums are generally asked to discuss their background and early influences, their routes to Parsons, their experiences and relationships established while attending the school, and their trajectories after graduating. Towers is particularly interested in hearing alums' thoughts on the most unique and important aspects of a Parsons education, and prompts them to reflect upon the ways that their education has fed into and continues to resonate with their post-graduation lives and careers. The oral histories presented here will form the basis for a website where Parsons alumni will be invited to record and upload their own Parsons stories.
